Fall in Baker County Oregon
Fall is a spectacular time to visit Baker County Oregon and explore the changing seasons along the Elkhorn, Journey Through Time, and Hells Canyon, scenic byways. These three byways meander through some of Oregon’s most scenic and diverse geography and through numerous small towns providing visitors a glimpse of small town Americana along the way.
One of our favorite fall outings is the small town of Haines along the Elkhorn Scenic Byway. This tiny eastern Oregon town is quintessential small town Americana and is home to the Eastern Oregon Museum and the Dick Camp Memorial Park. The park is a great spot for watching the fall colors change and is also home to some of the oldest buildings in the state of Oregon.
