20-21 April 2019: Muddy Foot Adventures again brings three exciting sporting activities to Plettenberg Bay this Easter. Catering to all levels of competitors, each sports event includes an enticing element of adventure set in Plett’s superb natural surroundings.
The weekend starts with trail runs at Cairnbrogie and the Plett Trail Park. The runs cater for all ages and levels of fitness with distances of 1,5km pram-friendly, 5km, 12km and 16km. The runs are followed by the U9 and U11 Kids’ Bike Rides around a looping course to see who can ride the most laps in an hour! The only event of its kind in the region, the BUCO Adventure Rally Ride sees teams of two follow a rally-style route book of instructions around Cairnbrogie and the surrounding MTO plantations. The festivities at Cairnbrogie will include a market of stalls in aid of Sounds the Call.
Easter Sunday will bring even more Plett adventure to Central Beach with the 12th annual BUCO Easter Surf Ski Challenge. The day will include K1 and K2s racing a 12km course and the thrilling “Dash for Cash” race at lunchtime – with a prize pot of R15 000!
